Published in the series "Monographs on Dutch Photographers", this volume is dedicated to Emmy Andriesse (1914-1953). She established herself as a versatile photographer from the "Foto'37" exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum onward. Her fashion, reportage, portrait and landscape photographs were published in numerous newspapers and magazines. The pictures she shot during and shortly after the war now form part of the Dutch collective memory. |
