Yucatan Passages is the story - in beautiful black and white photography and text - of a journey of discovery through southern Mexico by photographer Robert Hansen. The book photographically chronicles his travels in the Yucatan and southern Mexico during the last six years. It features 60 photographic reproductions of platinum and silver gelatin prints interspersed with a diary of travel that captures the serenity and beauty of an indigenous environment, the Spanish influence, and the persistence of traditional culture in the rain forest.
