Catalogue of a traveling retrospective exhibit, this representative collection of Samaras's paintings, pastels, photographs, collages, assemblages and sculptures illuminates an oeuvre brilliantly integrating a masterful control of explosive color, a cerebral sense of design and passionate, often disturbing, emotive elements.
